Data handling
Understand data access, retention and where to find published privacy commitments.
What OpenTag processes
OpenTag uses conversations, attachments, connected apps and work results to answer questions and carry out jobs. Source links help you check the evidence behind answers, wiki pages and commitments.
Your conversations, work history, learned preferences, skills and routines have separate access and deletion controls.
Access and sharing
Connected content follows its configured sharing model. Personal memory and private sources are distinct from team-shared knowledge. Wiki pages and history are filtered by current source access.
See How connections work before enabling Team access, and Channels and access for Slack context boundaries.
Credentials
Use the integration form, provider authorisation page or secure credential field. Do not put passwords or API keys in Slack messages or skill text.
Disconnect or revoke a connection when it is no longer needed. If a credential was exposed in conversation, rotate it at the provider as well.
Retention and deletion
Different records have different lifecycles. Forgetting a learned preference does not delete the original chat. Removing OpenTag from a channel does not itself submit a workspace deletion request. Disconnect behaviour can also vary by integration.
For a deletion or retention requirement, contact privacy@tryopentag.com and identify the workspace and data involved. Deleting your data explains the available paths.
Policies and security reviews
The privacy policy, DPA and sub-processor list contain the published terms for data handling and providers. Use those documents for commitments about model training, retention and deletion rather than inferring them from product behaviour.
The security page carries the current security and compliance information. Send questionnaires or requests for a security packet to team@tryopentag.com.
