10,000 credits is enough to run a few dozen real jobs. It's meant to be spent on work, not on a demo. It's a one-time grant, not a monthly allowance.
Team: from $50/month
One AI coworker the whole workspace shares. You pick how many credits you want each month.

5,000 credits is roughly a dozen recurring jobs a month, or about a hundred small ones, or any mix. 10,000 is roughly 25 recurring jobs, 20,000 roughly 50, 50,000 roughly 130, and 100,000 roughly 260. See How credits work.

The signing bonus
Start on Team and you get a one-time credit grant the same size as your first month's pack, on top of the allowance itself. It comes with the pack you start on, and it never expires.
It's there for your first weeks: moving real jobs over, connecting tools, re-asking until the ask is right. That ramp-up shouldn't eat the credits you'll want for a normal month.
Monthly and annual
The pricing page lets you pick monthly or annually on the Team card. Annually, every month costs 15% less: $42.50 instead of $50 for 5,000 credits, $85 instead of $100 for 10,000, $170 instead of $200 for 20,000, $425 instead of $500 for 50,000, $850 instead of $1,000 for 100,000. That saves $90, $180, $360, $900, or $1,800 a year, and credits still arrive month by month either way.
One seat, whole workspace
There's one OpenTag per workspace and everyone shares it. Adding your whole team doesn't change the price.
This is the thing to check when you're comparing against per-seat tools. A per-seat price means deciding in advance who's allowed to use it, and paying for people who use it twice a month. Here the price is the price, whether five people ask or fifty.
Why usage instead of seats
Because the work isn't the same size every time. A quick lookup and a week-long project shouldn't cost the same, and you shouldn't buy a seat for someone who asks OpenTag something occasionally.
You pay for what OpenTag does, not for who can reach it.
Nothing is added to your bill automatically
Running low on credits doesn't trigger a charge. OpenTag tells you in the channel, and buying more is a decision you make. Your plan stays at its price unless you choose otherwise. See Running out of credits.
Changing plans

Moving to a larger credit pack takes effect immediately with the new allowance. Dropping to a smaller pack takes effect at the end of the paid period. You keep what you paid for, and signing bonus credits stay yours.
What happens if you stop paying
You drop to the free plan: whatever credits remain, with no monthly refresh. Nothing is deleted. Your wiki, skills and routines are all still there if you come back.
