Removing OpenTag
Remove channel or app access, cancel billing and request data deletion through the right controls.
Remove it from a channel
Run /remove @OpenTag or remove it from the Slack member list. This stops new channel access. To govern future public channels too, review automatic joining and exclusions in Slack settings.
If you only want it to stop replying, an admin can set the channel to read-only instead. That does not remove its access to context.
Remove the Slack app
In Slack, open Manage apps, select OpenTag and remove the app. This removes its Slack installation and disrupts Slack requests and deliveries, including routine results.
Uninstallation is not a subscription cancellation or data deletion request. Handle those separately if that is your intent.
Disconnect an app
Open Integrations, select the account and disconnect it. You can also revoke access at the provider. Shared work and routines depending on that account may stop working.
Cancel billing
Open Billing as a workspace owner or admin. Use Manage and complete the cancellation flow. Check that the scheduled end is shown when you return.
Read the trial and renewal terms before cancelling; a subscription trial can convert early if its allowance is exhausted. See Plans.
Delete retained data
Email privacy@tryopentag.com with the workspace and requested scope. Ask for an export first if you need a copy. Deleting your data explains what remains in Slack and other connected apps.
