Fixes

Ask about OpenTag's earlier Slack messages

Ask OpenTag to find or quote an announcement it posted earlier, or send it a link to that message. Its own Slack messages now appear in searches and conversation history where they were previously missed.

Improvements

Use more detailed instructions in skills

Add longer checklists and formatting guides to a skill. OpenTag now has room for more of those instructions, including steps near the end that could previously be cut off.

Improvements

See where your credits go

The Usage page now shows credits spent on your requests separately from routines. Filter the history by teammate or routine to see what used them. Admins can also see which private routine used credits and who created it.

Features

Pause and resume related routines together

Group routines you own so you can pause or resume them together and see their past runs in one place. You and teammates with Edit access can manage the group from Slack or the Routines page.

Fixes

Download files with the name you expect

When OpenTag sends a revised file with a new filename, your Slack download now uses that name too. A file labeled as the latest version no longer downloads with an older version's name.

Features

Run a routine on several Slack messages at once

Ask a routine to wait for up to an hour and handle new Slack messages together. You can choose messages from people only, and watch more than eight channels as part of the same automation.

Improvements

Open the source from a Slack answer

Slack answers now include numbered source links beside the text. Click one to open the supporting document or preview the Slack message being referenced, making it easier to check where an answer came from.

Improvements

See where an answer came from

Answers now include a compact Sources footer identifying the conversations, documents, apps, or web pages they used. OpenTag also calls out older information or a failed live check so you can judge how current an answer is.

Improvements

Reconnect a custom integration in place

Unhealthy custom MCP integrations now have a Reconnect action. Sign in again or replace the API key while keeping the connection's name, sharing settings, and permissions.

Improvements

Fewer unnecessary Slack mentions

OpenTag now uses plain names when discussing people in Slack and saves mentions for messages that need their attention, such as a direct question or a reminder.

Improvements

Review Gmail messages before sending

Gmail sends, replies, and saved-draft sends now wait for your approval. In Slack, the review card shows the subject, recipients, and message body; requests made in a channel send the full preview privately to your DM.

Features

Rate OpenTag replies in Slack

Use the thumbs-up and thumbs-down buttons on OpenTag messages and files to leave feedback. A thumbs-down lets you add an optional explanation, and vote counts and names stay visible when you return to the conversation.

Fixes

Scroll through webhook history

Expanded webhook logs now scroll correctly on desktop and mobile. Events appear ten at a time, and the current page stays visible while the next one loads.

Integrations

Langfuse

Connect your Langfuse Cloud project to inspect traces, prompts, datasets, and evaluations from OpenTag. Choose your region and project keys, then select read-only or read and write access.

Integrations

Slashy

Connect Slashy to work with your email, calendar, contact research, and saved memories from OpenTag. Sign in with Slashy and choose read-only or full access; the connection starts private.

Fixes

Continue a request in your Slack DM

Reply directly in your DM with OpenTag and it keeps track of the recent conversation and outstanding requests. Response, decline, and stop-reminder controls stay on the latest reminder so you can act from there.

Features

Attach files to Gmail drafts

Ask OpenTag to attach a document or another file when composing a Gmail draft or email. You can use files shared in the conversation or found through your connected apps, and the send approval tells you when files are attached.

Features

Choose who can view and edit a routine

Routine owners can grant people or Slack channels Read or Edit access from Slack or the Sharing panel. Routines created in a DM start private; routines created in a channel are readable by that channel.
