Features

Create channels and invite people from a request

Ask OpenTag to create a channel, add teammates, join or leave a channel, or send a Slack Connect invitation to someone outside the company. Each is its own clear action.

Improvements

Richer replies in Slack

Long answers now render as native Slack rich text, so headings, lists, and code survive and the model footer stays put. Plain web addresses in replies are clickable again.

Improvements

Search reaches every channel

Slack search and channel filters now cover every channel OpenTag has joined, not only the first 40, so answers in large workspaces stop missing places.

Fixes

Google Drive files open as attachments

Files from Google Drive, including exported Docs and Sheets, now come back as attachments you can open instead of failing as too large. Shared drives are included by default.

Features

Skills are editable and channel-aware

Teams can now create and edit skills, then tie them to the channels where they belong so OpenTag knows when each workflow should be available.

Improvements

See each teammate’s usage

On the Usage page, click a teammate’s row to see just their credit usage, split between their own requests and the routines they scheduled. Spend is shown for the month and over a rolling 30 days.

Improvements

Several accounts on one integration

Connect more than one account to the same integration and OpenTag reaches all of them, each shown under its own name.

Improvements

Slack Connect goes further

People in other workspaces who share a Slack Connect channel with you can now DM OpenTag directly, and it can work in the shared public channels you name.

Fixes

Threads start from the first message

OpenTag no longer misses the opening message of a thread it was added to later, and replies that hit Slack’s length limit now carry a way to get the full text.

Features

Manage billing in the app

A new Billing page shows your plan, trial or cancellation status, and remaining credits. Open invoices, cancel, or resume without writing to support.

Integrations

Cal.com

Integrations

Calendly

Connect Calendly so OpenTag can check availability and help keep booking work moving.

Improvements

Choose the right model for each request

You can switch models from Slack when a task needs a different balance of speed, depth, or cost, or let Auto mode choose for you. Follow-up work stays at the level it needs without another settings round-trip.

Improvements

Twice the credits for every dollar

Every dollar of subscription now buys twice the credits, and the free starting grant doubles when a card is on file. Promotion codes work at checkout, and the setup trial is now seven days.

Features

Create images and videos from a request

OpenTag can now create images and videos as part of a request, then return the finished media where your team asked for it.

Improvements

Read Office documents and more photo formats

OpenTag can now read Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files shared in Slack, along with HEIC and AVIF photos straight from a phone.

Improvements

Plans on one simple ladder

Plans now run from Lite to Enterprise on a single base rate, with a bigger credit bonus at each step and an annual option on Scale. Every plan is named for what it costs.

Integrations

ClickUp

Connect ClickUp to bring projects and tasks into OpenTag when your team needs help moving work forward.

Features

Everyone in your Slack workspace can use OpenTag

Anyone in the workspace can message OpenTag or mention it in a channel and get an answer right away. There is no profile to create first, and OpenTag never starts a DM nobody asked for.
