Fixes

Recover from app request limits

Fixed useful error explanations from connected apps being replaced with a generic unavailable message. When an app rejects a request because of its inputs or page size, OpenTag can use the explanation to correct the request and continue through the results, instead of stopping an investigation after one failed page.

Improvements

Skip repeat Gmail work when nothing has changed

Gmail monitoring routines that only need to act on mailbox changes can now skip a scheduled run when nothing has changed. This applies to eligible existing and new routines without rewriting their instructions or schedules. Manual runs and routines that depend on the time or other sources continue to run normally.

Fixes

More reliable work on large reports and CSVs

Fixed limits that could interrupt bulk data work or reject larger generated files. OpenTag can now finish more demanding transformations and write larger reports and CSVs within the supported file size. If document work hits an error, it is also better at continuing from completed research and preserving useful shared drafts.

Features

Add original files to Notion pages

Ask OpenTag to attach original files to a Notion page, including files shared in Slack, generated documents, and files it can download from your connected apps. Uploads support files up to 20 MiB, subject to your Notion workspace's limits and write permissions.

Improvements

Create images with OpenAI models

Choose OpenAI image models alongside the existing Runway options in your workspace's Image Generation settings. GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst is the default when you have not chosen an image model. Your saved choice is preserved, and you can set your image and video models separately.

Improvements

Schedule a smaller plan for your next renewal

Switching to a lower-priced paid plan now takes effect at your next renewal, keeping your current plan and credit allowance available until then. Billing shows the upcoming plan and its start date, and you can replace or cancel the scheduled change before it takes effect.

Fixes

Read the full text of Slack alerts

Fixed Slack alerts appearing empty when their text was inside an attachment's fields, blocks, or footer. OpenTag can now use that text when you ask about an alert or its thread, so useful details are no longer missed just because the message uses a different layout.

Improvements

Manage private routine work from a Slack channel

Routine owners and editors can now amend private routine instructions from an internal Slack channel without revealing the existing instructions. Owners can review pending action approvals in a private Slack dialog. You can also check or cancel response-request work you started from a channel without exposing the private questions or answers.

Fixes

Know when your GitHub connection needs repair

Fixed removed GitHub App installations continuing to appear connected. OpenTag now confirms when an installation is missing and sends a repair notice. Connection notices also remain available when several connections to the same app fail together, so a wider problem no longer hides the action your workspace needs to take.

Fixes

Fewer delays when searching your company wiki

Fixed long waits when searching large company wikis. If part of a search takes too long, OpenTag can still use the findings and sources already found, and tells you when wiki coverage is incomplete.

Improvements

Clearer guidance when a setup email cannot be sent

When you request a setup link, OpenTag now flags email domains that cannot receive mail and asks you to check for typos or use another address. Temporary email addresses get a separate message asking for a permanent address. Personal email providers are still welcome.
