It’s official
Slack has approved OpenTag for listing in the Slack Marketplace. OpenTag now has an official home alongside the tools teams use to get work done every day.
The listing gives Slack customers one place to review what OpenTag does, the permissions it requests, and how it handles data before bringing it into a workspace.
We love Slack
We built OpenTag for Slack because that is where work already has context. A request arrives inside a real conversation, next to the decisions, people, and history that give it meaning. Nobody has to move the job into another tab and explain everything again.
Slack also makes AI work collaborative. A whole channel can add context, inspect OpenTag’s plan, approve a sensitive action, and see the finished result in the same thread. The work stays visible to the team instead of disappearing into a private chat.
An AI coworker in the channel
Invite OpenTag only to the channels where it should work. From there, it can connect to the tools your team approves, gather the information a job needs, and return a finished artifact with its sources.
Anything irreversible still waits for a person. Sending, spending, merging, and deleting stop at an approval gate in Slack, so the team keeps control while OpenTag handles the steps leading up to the decision.
